Saturday was one of the types of days that remind us why we live in Mount Pleasant. The bright sun shone early in a clear blue sky. Our friends were in town, Whitney and Kevin, and we were all excited to enjoy a warm day...the promise that winter will end! We headed to the beach at Out Island in Wild Dunes. It is a fairly secluded area and offers marsh, ocean and a great stretch of beach for walks and play.
Kate and Wright loved the beach! They both enjoy the outdoors, but Kate especially loved the beach. She wanted to explore and touch everything..she didn't even mind how chilly the water was!

We found a crab and Kate wanted to play with it..she did end up touching its leg and I was more scared than she was!
He kept coming back to play.....
That is as close as Wright wanted to get to the crab...we had to get a picture since he was wearing his crab shirt
