Wow! Can not believe that Kate and Wright are 12 weeks old today! Time sure has flown by...I was looking back at pictures of them over the last 12 weeks and am amazed at how quickly they have grown and are changing. Wright loves to smile and laugh and really enjoys lights, fans, mirrors and music! He loves to sleep on his tummy (I know, I know, but I got the ok from his pediatrician) but when he is awake he loves to lay on his back and look around. He can follow a toy or sound with his eyes and laughs with his whole face which is absolutely precious! Kate also loves to lay on her back and look around or just look at her brother! She gets excited when he is beside her which is so sweet. She also enjoys music and has started to smile and make precious coos and babbles! She has learned to pull my hair when she wants something and can hold onto a rattle although I don't think she realizes quite yet what to do with it. They have both found their hands and enjoy kicking...sometimes eachother! They are so much fun when we have them side by side although they have both been knocked in the face by the other one. Siblings :) Wright loves to suck on his hand..not just his thumb, but his entire hand...he has learned to self soothe with that during the night if he wakes up prior to a feeding. Kate has also found her thumb, but isn't as interested quite yet. Oh the nights...those are getting better too! We feed them around 9:30 or 10:00 each evening and the past few nights they have slept until 2 or 2:30..one night 3:30...which is great! They then wake up sometime around 6am and we start our day.
I absolutely love being with them and am sad to think of returning to work in a few short weeks. We have such a great time listening to music, reading or just snuggling up!
