Under the Sea

Kate's version of "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid. She is our star!

They both love to be sung to, their latest favorites and requests are "Happy", "twinkle" and "sunshine"

When the World is Ready for Bed

In the last week Kate and Wright have started talking, not just words, but putting together strings of words! Most are still two words, sometimes three. Each day I feel that their vocabulary expands and their understanding increases. Kate is more talkative than Wright, but he is very aware of her many requests...They definitely understand each other and carry on together. They have started playing together so much more. It is almost like they just realized that the other one could be a source of lots of fun! They definitely take care of each other which is so sweet. They are starting "school" (tues/thur for 3 hours) at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian next week and it gives me great comfort knowing that they will be starting this new adventure together!

August Fun!

We recently went to the mountains for a long weekend with Grannie and Grandad Dinkins. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed relaxation and fun new adventures with Kate and Wright. They loved pushing each other around on this tractor, playing in the playhouse and the waterfall!

We started the month with a week at Isle of Palms with the family! Here is a picture of all the cousins.

We have had one hot summer! Kate and Wright have had lots of fun playing in the water! Wright loves to fill up the pool, buckets, water the grass or....Kate!
