Oh happy day

Just a quick video from this afternoon of Kate and Wright; he of course jumping and Kate is in the exersaucer. It has been a fun day! We started with kindermusik and they both enjoyed playing with the instruments and being pulled around on a towel during the song "Going on a hayride.." This afternoon we sat outside and played with our toys on the porch refusing a nap longer than 30 minutes. Should make for an interesting evening! fun times....

Family Outing and update

Kate and Wright are 5 months old now!! They are both rolling over, working on sitting up, babbling to each other, Kate is eating much better and Wright jumps all the time. Bath time has become so much more fun and I look forward to putting them in the tub together soon! Wright usually soaks me because he kicks his legs the entire time.

They continue to sleep well which is so nice. Every once in awhile one of them will wake up around 2am..sometimes for a bottle and sometimes they just need some snuggles.
I LOVE being home with them on Wednesday's and Friday's! Last Wed we went to the dr and Wright weighed 16 lbs 1 oz and Kate weighed 14 lbs 1 oz. Wright is finally on the charts and coming in around the 45% percentile. Kate is holding her own and is currently in the 25% percentile for weight. After the doctor we went and visited Jenny and Dan's newest bundle, Ellie. She is beautiful and Walker is a great big brother. We look forward to many fun times with them! We continue to go to Kindermusik on Friday's and they really enjoy the music and interaction. I am so glad that I am able to do that with them! Here are some pictures taken last week.

Wright is wearing one of Will's baby outfits! I am so thankful that Mrs. Dinkins kept it and that it fits Wright.

A few Saturday's ago Will and I took Kate and Wright to the farmers market at Marion Square. We had a wonderful time strolling around! The weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the morning under a live oak in Marion Square. It doesn't get much better than that....

Playtime!!

Kate and Wright with their Easter baskets!

They are so much fun to watch while playing! They both watch each other and then start playing again!

Kate likes the toys on this more than jumping...yes, that is a Wii board. They are not tall enough yet to reach the floor so we help them out!

Happy little boy

We had a wonderful first Easter with Kate and Wright! We started the weekend Thursday evening with Will's family. His parents, Lang, Kirsten and the girls all came over for dinner at the house to celebrate Kirsten's birthday. Kirsten gave us some exciting news...Kate and Wright will have a new baby cousin in December!! Here are a few pictures of Kate with the girls. They are so sweet to both Kate and Wright!

My mom came into town on Friday to celebrate Easter with us. We had a great weekend! They looked so sweet in their Easter outfits. We took them to an Easter Egg Hunt with friends on Saturday which was fun. They enjoyed watching the kids run around and play! On Sunday they had a visit from the easter bunny and enjoyed all their goodies. We enjoyed a yummy brunch at the Post House after church and Kate and Wright were angels in the restaurant.

Since my last post Wright has cut his second tooth! Yes, he has two bottom teeth! He looks so cute and did really well while teething. Kate has started drooling more, but no inflammation around her gums yet. They are both eating veggies now. Wright continues to eat much more than Kate. He is now eating sweet potatoes, carrots and peas. We are going to add bananas this week! Kate has eaten sweet potatoes and carrots, but will not finish either one. She pulls her bib up in front of her mouth because she really doesn't like the rice cereal!

They have also started playing in their jumparoo and the exersaucer. They love them! Kate loves all the toys on both of them and will turn herself around to see everything. Wright just loves to jump up and down! They can sit in their bumbo seats, but don't enjoy that for too long. They have great head control and are getting closer to sitting up on their own! Kate has also started pulling her pacifier from her mouth, inspecting it and putting it back in her mouth. We are so proud of her!
